ABOUT ME

Teddy

Travis the Wonderdog
I have worked in graphic and web design, both freelance and within various corporate positions, for 20+ years.
After attending Temple University's Tyler School of Art, my first job was as a draftsman for a company in Fort Washington, PA, where I created technical engineering drawings. After 6 years I went to a privately-owned company in Spring House, PA where I created technical, hand-inked isometric "exploded-view" assembly drawings. After two years, I transferred to the Marketing Communications department and became a full-time digital graphic designer and web administrator. Our department created all the marketing and technical materials for the company, including brochures, magazine ads, annual reports, trade show panels, and promotional items that highlighted our products and company branding. As part of the team, I was responsible for producing finished pieces from gathering requirements, the brainstorming and design phase, through the creation of print-ready files and proofing. After over 10 years there, I left to become a web administrator at a company in Fort Washington, PA where I worked from 2000-2020. Since then, I have kept busy with freelance graphic and web design projects, which I have also done throughout the last 20+ years.
I currently live in Schwenksville, PA. with my husband. Sadly, our socially dysfunctional rescue dog, Travis passed in June 2022, but we adopted another rescue pup, Teddy who has been with us almost two years now. I am the mother of two wonderful daughters. Our oldest is a 2020 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and the youngest is currently a Senior Marketing Major at Temple University. My hobbies include Photoshop, photography, painting, stained glass, reading, and calligraphy.
